Welcome back to Euro Football Daily for this week’s edition of Euro Transfer Talk. The summer window may have closed but with free transfers available and the future of some high profile stars still uncertain, there’s plenty of stories to delve into in today’s episode.
We begin with Barcelona flop Miralem Pjanic, who has joined Turkish champions Besiktas on a season long loan. We then head to Paris where the future of Kylian Mbappe remains unclear. Real Madrid reportedly rejected a €200 million offer for the Frenchman, with PSG quietly confident that the superstar will sign a new contract at the Parc de Princes. Another France international who wants out of his club is Tanguy Ndombele, with Tottenham reportedly keen to offer their record signing to A.C. Milan, in exchange for Franck Kessie. Ndombele may be staying put at Spurs for now but his good friend and former teammate Serge Aurier has said his goodbyes and is open to moving to arch-rivals Arsenal. We finish our episode in Italy, where Juventus star Weston McKennie is attracting interest from Aston Villa, and Franck Ribery has secured a move to Serie A newcomers Salernitana.
